Internship Opportunities with UNAIDS and Other Stakeholders

The internships in HIV/AIDS related areas are a rather new experience for the Republic of Moldova. So far, internship opportunities have been granted sporadically based on specific organizational needs. Now, as the national response to HIV/AIDS is getting more and more multi-sectoral, the opportunities and needs for interns are increasing.

The internships are granted mainly to students in their last 2 years of university. UNAIDS or any other organization will sign a contract with the university, will develop an internship plan and will provide the intern with a recommendation letter upon the completion of the internship. The duration of the internship will vary according to the needs of both the organization and the intern, usually for 2–6 months.
